c) Responsible Inquiry Use
SpotLet encourages meaningful inquiries that reflect genuine interest. Excessive, repetitive, or non-serious inquiries are discouraged and may result in temporary or permanent account restrictions.
d) Use of Platform Tools
Tools provided by SpotLet (e.g., property comparison, inquiry forms, saved favorites, WhatsApp integration) should be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless you are a verified host or business user.
e) Compliance Monitoring
SpotLet reserves the right to monitor user activities on the platform to identify suspicious behavior, abuse, or violations. Based on observed conduct, SpotLet may issue warnings, restrict access, suspend accounts, or take legal action as necessary.
f) Repercussions for Violations
Any behavior found to be in violation of these conduct rules may lead to:
4. Enquiry & Communication Terms
a) Purpose of Enquiries
By submitting an enquiry on SpotLet, you agree that you are expressing genuine interest in the property, venue, or service listed. Enquiries must be relevant, clear, and made in good faith. Misuse of the enquiry feature—including spamming, fake leads, or irrelevant queries—is strictly prohibited.
b) Communication Channels
Once an enquiry is submitted, SpotLet and the respective property owner (host) may contact you through multiple channels including WhatsApp, phone, email, and in-app notifications. By registering, you agree to receive such communications related to your enquiry or activity on SpotLet.
c) Response Expectations
Hosts are encouraged to respond to enquiries within 24–48 hours. However, SpotLet does not guarantee response times or host availability. Users are advised to follow up professionally and avoid repeated or aggressive messaging.
d) Professional Etiquette
You agree to communicate respectfully with property owners and SpotLet representatives. Any form of abusive language, threats, or coercion in communications may lead to account warnings or termination.
e) Multiple Enquiries
You may submit enquiries to multiple properties; however, repeated bulk enquiries without intent to book may be flagged as spam. SpotLet reserves the right to limit or temporarily block enquiry submissions from accounts with suspicious activity.
f) Lead Visibility
Depending on your subscription plan, your enquiry may or may not be visible to multiple hosts:
g) Accuracy of Information
When submitting an enquiry, you must provide accurate information including your name, contact details, and purpose of booking. Misleading or incomplete information may result in your enquiry being ignored or your account being flagged.
5. Data Privacy & Consent
a) Information Collection
When you create an account on SpotLet, we collect personal information such as your name, contact number, email address, city, preferences, and inquiry history. Additional information may be collected based on your interactions on the platform (e.g., saved properties, communication logs, and feedback submitted).
b) Use of Information
Your data is used to provide you with a personalized experience, respond to your enquiries, suggest relevant listings, share promotional offers, improve platform performance, and connect you with property owners or hosts. SpotLet may also use your data to analyze trends, user behavior, and system performance in a non-identifiable, aggregated manner.
c) Consent to Communication
By registering, you expressly consent to SpotLet using your contact information to send you service-related messages via WhatsApp, SMS, calls, email, and in-app notifications. These communications may include enquiry responses, booking updates, feedback requests, promotional campaigns, or policy changes.
d) Data Sharing with Hosts
When you make an enquiry or show interest in a property, your contact information and message content will be shared with the respective host for the purpose of assisting with your booking or request. SpotLet does not sell or rent your personal data to unaffiliated third parties.
e) Data Protection Practices
SpotLet employs standard security protocols to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. However, SpotLet is not responsible for any breach resulting from user-side negligence (e.g., sharing passwords, using unsecured devices, etc.).
f) User Rights
You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting our support team at support@spotlet.in. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or resolving disputes.
g) Third-Party Tools
SpotLet may use third-party service providers for CRM, analytics, communication, or marketing support. These vendors are contractually obligated to safeguard your data and use it only for the agreed-upon purposes.
6. Lead Sharing Policy (For Free Plan Users)
a) Nature of Shared Leads
Users who are on the Basic (Free) Plan understand and agree that the enquiries they generate through SpotLet may be shared with multiple property owners (hosts) offering similar listings or services. This means that more than one host may contact you in response to a single enquiry.
b) Purpose of Lead Sharing
Lead sharing is designed to increase user choice and improve the chances of property availability by notifying multiple relevant hosts about your requirements. This ensures faster responses and more booking options for users exploring the platform without a paid subscription.
c) Transparency in Communication
While your enquiry may be routed to multiple hosts, you will be informed via email or WhatsApp about the property names or types contacted. You may receive communication from multiple verified hosts, and you are free to choose any that best meets your requirements.
d) Limitations of Lead Privacy
SpotLet does not guarantee exclusive communication with a single host when you’re on the Free Plan. If you prefer exclusive interaction with the host of your chosen property, you may consider upgrading to a paid subscription where lead exclusivity is assured.
e) No Control Over Host Response
Once a shared lead is distributed, SpotLet does not control the timing, nature, or content of host responses. Hosts may respond via call, WhatsApp, or email, depending on the contact details you provided at registration.
f) Opting Out
If you do not wish for your enquiries to be shared, you can either upgrade to a paid plan or refrain from submitting an enquiry. SpotLet cannot manually prevent lead sharing for users who remain on the Basic Plan.
7. WhatsApp & Email Notification Consent
a) Communication Consent
By registering on SpotLet, users expressly consent to receive communications via WhatsApp, email, SMS, phone calls, and in-app messages. These communications may include enquiry confirmations, updates from hosts, promotional offers, policy changes, reminders, newsletters, or property suggestions based on your activity on the platform.
b) Type of Notifications
The communications you may receive include, but are not limited to:
c) Frequency & Control
While SpotLet aims to maintain a relevant and non-intrusive communication frequency, users may control preferences for promotional emails or WhatsApp messages by clicking the unsubscribe link in emails or replying with specific opt-out keywords on WhatsApp. However, transactional communications related to your account or activity on SpotLet cannot be opted out of.
d) Use of Third-Party Platforms
SpotLet may use verified third-party messaging or CRM platforms to deliver these communications. These platforms are contractually obligated to maintain the privacy and security of your data and will use it solely for the intended communication purpose.
e) Disclaimer of Responsibility
SpotLet is an online aggregator and marketplace facilitating short-term rentals and property listings. We are not involved in, nor responsible for, any direct communication outcomes, bookings, or agreements arising between users and hosts following such notifications. All users are solely responsible for verifying the authenticity, suitability, and safety of any property or host they interact with. SpotLet shall not be held liable for any outcomes—including commercial loss, damage, or disputes—arising from interactions initiated through our notification system.
8. Content Posted by Users
a) User Responsibility for Content

b) Suspension Procedures
In case of suspected violations, SpotLet may suspend the account temporarily while investigating the issue. During suspension, the user will be restricted from accessing some or all platform features.
c) Termination and Data Deletion
Permanent termination will result in loss of access to the account and removal of user data as per SpotLet’s Privacy Policy and applicable law. Certain information may be retained as required for legal compliance.
d) Appeal Process
Users may contact SpotLet support to appeal a suspension or termination decision. SpotLet will review appeals in good faith but reserves sole discretion to uphold or revoke such actions.
e) Effect on Existing Transactions

f) No Liability
SpotLet is not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences resulting from account suspension or termination.
